The youth from marginalized communities find it easy to fall prey to the perils of poverty, like school or college dropouts, child labor, manual labor, and often depression. The Sadhana Vidyamandir The youth from marginalized communities find it easy to fall prey to the perils of poverty, like school or college dropouts, child labor, manual labor, and often depression. The Sadhana Vidyamandir Foundation wishes to tackle these issues at their root cause. We work with youngsters from underprivileged backgrounds and help them lead fulfilling and rewarding lives while contributing positively to their families and communities.

Our Vision

To reduce inequality and depression by offering industry-aligned skill training to the upcoming generation, aiming to create sustainable livelihoods and change agents in Indian society.

Our Mission

To provide a platform that aims to provide transparency for donors, engage them in the community, and track the progress of beneficiaries towards sustainable livelihoods.

Our Approach

People aspire to feel fulfilled and to give back to their communities. However, there is a lack of openness about the outcomes and a lack of confidence about how the donation is being used. Philanthropists are eager to participate with money and time.

However, the personal fulfillment that comes from charitable giving means a little to the philanthropists since what matters to them is seeing any kind of change.

Our approach is one-donor-to-one-beneficiary program model:

SVF gives volunteers a platform to carry out a beneficiary's end-to-end employment process, which includes selecting, funding, mentoring, and success monitoring. SVF defines "success” as maintaining sustainable employment for three months.
The contributor will serve as a donor and mentor. The SVP will select a local facilitator with whom the contributor will collaborate. The background check for the beneficiary and local facilitator will be handled by the SVP, and the contributor will be kept fully informed.

Future of Sadhana Vidyamandir Foundation

There are 32 million NRIs, currently. In the USA alone, there are almost 5 million NRIs. 2.5 million (25 lakh) Indians migrate abroad each year. SVF will succeed in its purpose if a few NRIs feel that way.

1. 1000 sustainable employment by 2024.
2. FCRA and 501(c)(3) registration by 2026.
3. 1M sustainable employment by 2028.

Core Values

Beneficiary and contributor focused

We want to work for the betterment of the beneficiary as well as satisfaction of the contributor with a single-minded focus on providing employment that is both sustainable and long-term. SVF aims to provide development for the entire community – one that is both decentralised and accountable. We also want to keep lean operations with little organizational overhead. We are committed to be secular, apolitical, non-religious and non-sectarian.

Transparency

Openness and transparency is one of our core values. Whether it is that of resources, processes or results, we aim to share it all with our contributors.

Deliver impact

We assure our contributors that we aim to create a change that is impactful and palpable. We will direct all our resources and efforts towards sustainable employment of the youth of our country.
